How does film digitization work?

Order in our shop, send your films to our address in Kaiserslautern, Germany. We professionally digitize them in HD/4K and return them on DVD or USB drive together with the originals.

Which film formats can be digitized?

We digitize Super 8, Regular 8mm, 9.5mm Pathé, 16mm and 35mm films. Both silent and sound films.

How long does digitization take?

Standard processing time is 14 business days from film receipt. For 16mm and 35mm it may take up to 21 business days.

Do I get my original films back?

Yes, of course! Your original films are securely returned together with the digitized medium (DVD/USB).

What does shipping cost?

Shipping within Germany costs €5.90. Orders over €50 ship for free.

What quality are the films scanned in?

We scan in HD 1080p (Super 8, 8mm), 2K (16mm) or 4K (35mm). Files are delivered as MP4.
